Come join Robert and Joy amongst the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Spend a weekend immersed in the world of the family cow.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn and experience dairy cows in a small farm setting. No prerequisites necessary.
Finding information about dairy cows can be difficult. The information is either from the dairy industry with the latest science but different priorities than you do, or from the lore of the old-timers which varies to the extreme.
Robert and Joy have experienced both and have come up with a balanced approach blending the best of all worlds. Their workshops are for the purpose of conveying what they've discovered and what has worked well for them and others.
This is not a workshop in veterinary science - it is a plain, ordinary English, common-sense workshop. Robert and Joy want you to gain the skills and enhanced instincts for taking care of a dairy cow, and the confidence to do so in your own home environment.
