Family Trained Jersey Cows
Several large dairys in New Mexico, that do not use hormones or antibiotics, know we can rescue cows that are not working out for their needs or extras. They would rather we rescue the cows than send them to the butcher. We don't accept them unless they can be turned into happy, healthy, milk producing, family cows. Our Family Trained Jersey Cows will appear here when they are close to being available. Currently they are selling from our waiting list before we can add them. Suzie - Jersey/Holstein Springer
Suzie is a 3/4 Jersey 1/4 Holstein Springer and both sides are from registered stock. She is fully vacinated for travel and raised 100% organic. Suzie is over 4 feet tall at the shoulder, solidly built, and very affectionate. She will be for sale after she calves in March and fully trained for hand milking.

Less than 2 years old. Just calved. Very gentle but only three active teats (One did not start up on first lactation). Currently giving 3 gallons a day and increasing. Her feed is all organic. Suzannah has never had any hormones or antibiotics. Only minor homeopathic treatments.
